Weighted lunge jump

  • Start by taking a large step forward with your left foot.
  • Hold a full plastic water bottle in each hand, keeping your back straight. Bend both legs and lower into a lunge, keeping your weight on the front leg.
  • Push through the front leg and jump up, switching leg position in mid air. Continue, alternating legs each reps.
  • 3x 10 reps

Squat Press

(Shoulders and bottom)

  • Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding full plastic water bottles either side of your face.
  • Squat down as low as you can, then push up to standing, pressing the bottles up towards the ceiling.
  • Lower the bottles back to the start and repeat.
  • 3x 10 reps

Body weight press-ups

(Chest, rear of upper arms)

  • Come into plank position, resting on your toes with your hands below your shoulders.
  • Lower your chest to the floor, keeping your body stiff. Slowly lift up and repeat.
